Books That Never Fall Behind

A backlog is not a bookkeeping problem -- it is a decision-making problem.

Always Current

Transactions are posted daily, not batched at month-end. Your ledger reflects yesterday's activity, not last quarter's.

Clean Reconciliations

Every bank and card account is reconciled by the 10th. Discrepancies surface in days, not months.

Tax-Ready Coding

Each entry carries the correct VAT treatment and corporate tax classification from the moment it is recorded.

One Version of the Numbers

Your ledger feeds management reports, tax returns, and audit files. No parallel spreadsheets, no conflicting figures.

Cheaper Than Fixing It Later

A misposted entry caught the same week costs minutes. The same error found during audit preparation costs hours and fees.

What Gets Recorded and Reconciled

Every line below is a specific deliverable, scoped and scheduled in your engagement letter.

A Team That Posts Entries Daily

Ahmed Mahfoudh Chartered Accountants & Auditors is a Dubai-based practice registered with the UAE Ministry of Economy. Our bookkeepers work in your accounting software every day -- not once a month when a deadline approaches. We maintain ledgers for mainland LLCs, free zone entities, and foreign branches across trading, services, retail, and contracting. Every engagement is supervised by a chartered accountant who reviews the month-end close before it reaches you.

How the Bookkeeping Actually Runs

The usual problem is not bad software -- it is entries that sit unposted for weeks.

AMC Sami Abdallah Partners team
Entries Posted Daily, Not Batched

We record transactions the same day or next business day. That means your ledger is never more than 24 hours behind reality. When you need a number, it is there -- you do not wait for a month-end batch to finish.

One Bookkeeper Knows Your Business

A single assigned bookkeeper handles your account every day. They know your suppliers, your recurring entries, and your chart of accounts. When you have a question, they answer it without asking you to explain your business first.

We Work in Your Software

QuickBooks, Zoho, Xero, Tally -- we log in and post directly. You see entries appear in real time. No files emailed back and forth, no spreadsheet uploads, no version mismatches at month-end.

Every Entry Is Tax-Coded from Day One

VAT input and output categories are assigned when the transaction is recorded, not retro-fitted at filing time. The same applies to corporate tax classifications. Your books are always one step ahead of the next deadline.

Discrepancies Get Flagged, Not Buried

When a bank entry does not match, or a supplier invoice is duplicated, we flag it within 48 hours and send you a short note. Problems are resolved in the week they happen, not discovered during audit.

Backlogs Cleared Before Ongoing Work Starts

If your books are behind, we clean up the backlog first -- typically two to four weeks for three to six months of unposted transactions. Ongoing daily recording begins only after the ledger is current and reconciled.

Your Bookkeeping Team

Dedicated bookkeepers supervised by chartered accountants, assigned to your account daily.

What Business Owners Say About Their Books

Finance leaders and owners in Dubai whose daily bookkeeping runs through our team.

Bookkeeping Engagement Questions

What business owners in Dubai ask before handing over their books.

How quickly are transactions recorded?

Same day or next business day. We do not batch entries at month-end. If a sale, purchase, or expense happens today, it appears in your ledger tomorrow morning at the latest.

What software do you work in?

QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, Tally, and most cloud-based platforms. We log into your system directly. If you are starting fresh, we recommend a platform based on your transaction volume and whether you need multi-currency.

How much does outsourced bookkeeping cost?

Monthly fees depend on transaction volume, number of bank accounts, and scope. A service company processing 50 invoices monthly costs less than a trading firm with 500 daily transactions. We quote after reviewing a sample month of activity.

Can you clean up a backlog first?

Yes. We clear backlogs before starting ongoing work -- typically two to four weeks for three to six months of unposted transactions. Backlog work is quoted separately based on volume and how disorganised the records are.

Is bookkeeping legally required in the UAE?

Yes. UAE Commercial Companies Law and Federal Decree-Law No. 47 on corporate tax both require businesses to maintain accurate financial records. The FTA can request records going back five years for VAT and seven years for corporate tax.

Do you handle VAT entries or just record transactions?

Every transaction we post carries the correct VAT input or output classification from the start. We do not record entries first and add tax codes later. VAT return preparation and filing is a separate engagement if you need it.

What happens if you find an error in our books?

We correct it and send a short note explaining what was wrong and what changed. You always know what moved in your ledger. We do not quietly adjust numbers and hope nobody notices.

How do you handle multi-currency?

Foreign currency transactions are recorded at the exchange rate on the transaction date. At month-end, we post revaluation entries to adjust open balances to the closing rate. Exchange gains and losses appear as a separate line in your P&L.

Will we get a dedicated bookkeeper?

Yes. One named bookkeeper is assigned to your account and handles your entries daily. They know your chart of accounts, your vendors, and your recurring transactions. If they are unavailable, a trained backup who has reviewed your file steps in.

What reports do we receive each month?

At minimum: a reconciled trial balance, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and an accounts receivable and payable aging summary. Management commentary or KPI dashboards are available as add-ons depending on your engagement scope.

Can we switch from our current bookkeeper mid-year?

Yes. We take over as of any month-end. We need your latest trial balance, bank statements, and login credentials to your accounting software. Transition takes one to two weeks. We reconcile the handover month before starting our own cycle.

What if our transaction volume changes?

We adjust. If volume grows, we scale the engagement and revise the fee at the next quarterly review. If it drops, we reduce accordingly. You are not locked into a fixed scope that no longer matches your business.

Do you keep copies of source documents?

We maintain digital copies of all journals, ledgers, and reconciliation workpapers. You should keep original invoices, contracts, receipts, and bank statements on your end. UAE law requires seven-year retention for corporate tax records and five years for VAT.
