Industries We Serve
Accounting, VAT & Inventory for Retail & E-Commerce in the UAE
Online stores and retail chains sell across many channels: shops, websites, marketplaces and delivery partners. We reconcile every sales channel, payment gateway and stock movement so your margins and VAT returns are correct.
Overview
One Clear Set of Numbers Across Every Sales Channel
Retail and e-commerce businesses generate thousands of small transactions. Sales arrive through POS systems, Shopify or WooCommerce stores, Amazon and Noon, cash-on-delivery couriers and payment gateways, each with its own fees, timing and refunds. Without regular reconciliation, revenue, cash and VAT drift apart.
SAS Partners sets up bookkeeping that matches each channel to the bank, values inventory correctly and files VAT returns that agree with your sales data. Retailers with one shop and multi-branch groups alike get monthly reports that show real profit by store, channel and product line.
Common Challenges
What Retailers and Online Sellers Struggle With
- Marketplace and gateway payouts: settlements net of commission, shipping, refunds and fees that never match gross sales.
- Cash on delivery: courier collections remitted late or short and never chased.
- Inventory valuation: stock across warehouses, shops and fulfilment centres not counted or valued consistently.
- Returns and discounts: refunds, vouchers and promotions not reflected correctly in VAT.
- Cross-border sales: uncertainty over VAT on goods shipped outside the UAE.
- Multi-branch reporting: no clear view of profit per store or per channel.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
When does an online store need to register for VAT?
Registration is mandatory when taxable supplies in the UAE exceed AED 375,000 in the previous 12 months or are expected to in the next 30 days. Voluntary registration is possible from AED 187,500.
How do you reconcile Amazon, Noon and payment gateway payouts?
We match each payout to the underlying orders, fees, refunds and charges, post the fees as expenses and the sales at their gross value, so revenue and VAT are complete.
